A fully revised and updated product selector has been introduced by Allied Maxcut to assist in the selection of its high performance drills range and ensure the most suitable product is chosen for a particular application.
Available as a free download from the company's website, www.alliedmaxcut.com, or on compact disc by request, the product selector is designed for easy use on any desktop PC or laptop, which calculates and recommends the correct AMEC product driven by the user's specific machining and application requirements.
Once the product selector programme is running, it provides on screen prompts for the user to input specific information for the application, such as hole diameter and depth, as well as the material to be machined. The most suitable product is then automatically recommended and information on speeds feeds, and dimensional data for the tool is displayed, together with any alternative products with the Allied Maxcut range, which could also be considered.
As the new product selector now includes the Original T-A® system, the GEN2 T-A® system and the all-new GEN3SYS® drilling system, the entire product selector has been reconfigured to incorporate new performance data for all the various systems and now includes an AMEC preferred choice.
