The inaugural Tooling Matters exhibition in March 2007 has proven to be highly success for Allied Maxcut, with interest being shown in the company's wide range of high performance cutting tools, which were on display at the show.
Organised and supported by leading engineering industry trade magazine, Machinery, the exhibition was held in Warwick and attracted a range of visitors from manufacturing, sub contracting representing a range of industry sectors, many of which were keen to see the latest products and cutting tool solutions form Allied Maxcut including the new GEN3SYS® high penetration replaceable insert drilling system.
Allied Maxcut's Senior Sales Engineer, Nigel Jackson, was part of the team manning the stand at the exhibition and he was enthusiastic about the quality of visitors and the level of interest shown in the company's range: "What was really interesting about the enquiries and interest we received was the sheer scope and diversity of the types of industries and machining applications that people were discussing with us. They ranged form a major aerospace company with an interesting in fast specialised machining of hydraulic ports, high volume automotive component manufacturers seeking maximum productivity to a smaller business with a need for fast and accurate tooling for prototype work."
He added: "A large number of our other enquiries involved solving special tooling requirements for challenging machining applications, such as difficult to machine materials, deep holes or cross-hole machining. Also, GEN3SYS® was extremely well received and a number of demonstrations were secured at the show based on the performance and cutting characteristics of this new drilling system. Clearly, it was a very good show for us and we're already developing solutions for a number of the companies that we met at the exhibition."
