Stand number D78 in Hall 4 is the location of AMEC's 91m2 exhibition area at the prestigious EMO Hannover exhibition, which takes place between 17th and 22nd September 2007.
The new GEN3SYS high penetration drilling system from AMEC will take centre stage at the show, where the company will be exhibiting its complete range of drills and cutting tools. Visitors to the stand will be able to experience first hand, the speed, performance and quality that can be achieved with the GEN3SYS system, as AMEC will be running live demonstrations of GEN3SYS drills on a high speed machining centre throughout the duration of the exhibition.
In addition, static and animated displays of the class leading GEN2 T-A range, the structural steel drilling system and the original T-A throw away insert system will also be on show, together with AMEC's unique Accu-Port 432 hydraulic port drilling system and the range of new port drilling kits which are being launched throughout Europe at the exhibition.
The line up on the stand is completed by the AMEC's extensive ranges of high performance thread mills and fixed and expanding reamers, which fully integrate with the drilling systems to provide a fast, accurate, cost effective and fully comprehensive hole drilling and finishing system.
Rodney Crawford, Managing Director of Allied Maxcut, AMEC's European operation, explained: "Since the last EMO, we have continued to innovate and develop new products that have helped us stay at the leading edge of high performance production tooling. GEN3SYS, for example, delivers a level of performance that was almost unimaginable only two years ago, using new tip geometry and coatings to deliver very high productivity, penetration rates and tool life."
"We have developed a strong and growing reputation in Europe, through our distributors who have been extremely successful, particularly in Germany, and we are confident that this year's EMO will help us reinforce that position still further."
