AMEC's busy training centre at its European HQ recently hosted a series of intensive product training sessions for two of its key distributors from Italy and Belgium.
Ten sales and technical support engineers from Italian distributor Febametal S.p.A. and N.V. Irontec in Belgium attended the two day Technical Education Seminar (TES) which covered a range of AMEC products including GEN3SYS®, GEN2 T-A®, AccuPort, and AccuThread as well as previewing the latest V-Maxx’ range.
In addition to covering performance data, manufacturing applications and the latest AMEC developments, detailed product demonstration also form a key part of the course, where drills, thread mills, reamers and other tooling are put through their paces on various materials to show chip forming, finish and accuracy under different operating conditions.
