AMEC's innovative GEN3SYS® high penetration drilling system has been extended, enabling the high performance benefits and characteristics of the range to be used for drilling holes from 12mm up to 32mm diameter.
The new GEN3SYS® 29 Series covers drill sizes from 29mm to 32mm metric as well as including imperial sizes up to 1¼” diameter with a choice of cutting insert materials of K35 (C1) and K20 (C2) to maintain the high cutting rate, tool life and durability that has become synonymous with GEN3SYS.
Straight or helical fluted holders are available, including through cooling for lathes and machining centres and provide up to a maximum cutting depth of 7 times the drill diameter.
