The recent MACH 2008 exhibition a the NEC, Birmingham has proven to be one of AMEC's most successful shows to date now that the enquiries have been fully processed and actioned by the company's sales and marketing team.
AMEC has already secured several orders as a direct result of exhibiting at the show, whilst the overall level of interest in the product range has been extremely good. In addition to launching a number of new products at MACH, including the innovative Revolution Drill™ and Core Drill™ range, the company also staged live cutting tool demonstrations throughout the show on a specially installed Haas VF2 machining centre.
Visitor interest in the entire range of AMEC products was consistently high, but the 'stars' of the show were the Revolution and Core drill range, the new extended GEN3SYS drilling system and the latest thread mill range.
AMEC's UK Sales Manager, Mark Tibbetts, explained: "MACH is always a great show for us and this year's exhibition was particularly productive for us and the level of interest in our whole product range was very high. It certainly helped that we launched new and innovative products at the show, but a significant number of enquiries were taken for well established products, such as GEN2-TA."
"This was the third major European machinery and production exhibition we have attended in the last seven months, which started at EMO Hanover in September last year and the METAV Dusseldorf in March 2008, all of which have been excellent shows for us.
