AMEC is pleased to introduce the addition of stacked plate cartridges for the Revolution Drill® product line. These cartridges are designed to minimise or eliminate the disc created when the tool exits the work piece, allowing the tool to drill through stacked plates.
Stacked plate cartridges are fully interchangeable with standard cartridges and utilise the standard Revolution Drill® and Core Drill® inserts, which minimises inventory requirements. AMEC recommends using the stacked plate cartridges on drill bodies under 2.5 x D length. For best results, use integral shank tools in rotating applications where possible.
Cartridges for the entire Revolution Drill® diameter range of 47.63 mm –
101.60 mm (1.875" – 4.000") are stocked in limited quantities. Revolution Drills assembled with stacked plate cartridges are available as non-stocked items with a 10 day lead time.
