Our European Operations Manager is attempting to run his first marathon for charity this October. After managing to complete a few half marathons he’s decided it’s time to try the big one. Whilst in the USA for a meeting with Allied Machine it looked like the perfect opportunity for Paul to enter the Chicago Marathon on October 9th.
Paul's Personal Message:
" I wanted to raise some money for charity so thought attempting to run my first marathon might persuade friends and colleagues to part with some cash.. I have immense respect for anyone willing to put their lives on the line for our country & safety of others so Help For Heroes seemed a perfect choice, I also wanted to raise some money for something closer to home so Friends Of Stotteson Primary School (FOSPS) is my local school.
I really appreciate any support you can give, this will make the hours of training, slogging down country roads, well worthwhile. Even managing to tire out Jasper my loyal running companion, a normally mad springer spaniel."
